Garage door windows can add decorative appeal

Want to add style to your garage door? A simple solution is to add windows.

Garage door windows are typically small and located at the highest section of the door. That way these windows can allow a natural lighting to the inside of your garage without allowing anyone to see inside. Most importantly, adding windows can make your garage door unique. Garage door windows can add to the decorative appeal of the entire front of your home.

Enhancing your home’s curb appeal will have the neighbors staring and can even increase your home’s overall value. You can even find custom windows that harmonize with the rest of the window and door styles of your home.

  1. Homeowners demand good design, appealing color, choice of textures, distinctive features in our home environment whether it pertains to the gourmet kitchen or the new design concepts in the garage.

As a veteran Realtor since 1977 and author of the book, Your Garagenous Zone- Inovative Ideas for the Garage, garage doors that are shown here add the finishing touch that complements the front elevation to any home.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if a garage door company would allow a homeowner to upload a photo of that homeowner’s front elevation. Then drag and drop that garage door company’s variety of garage door designs and colors. Hmmm….that would be pretty cool.

    Nice site First United!

  2. Thanks for your comments, Bill. In fact, we are currently building a module for our website that will allow visitors to upload an image of the front elevation of their home and “drag and drop” the image of a garage door with their selection of design and options.

Your website, http://www.garagez.com, is a great resource of innovative ideas for the garage– inside and out! I recommend builders, architects and homeowners alike, visit your site.
